Persistent Cybersecurity Clinic Internship Program (PCCIP)

The Persistent Cybersecurity Clinic Internship Program (PCCIP) is a paid cybersecurity internship program for college students in Ohio that gives students hands-on experience working with real organizations.

This paid internship connects students with Ohio's Local Government Entities (LGEs) undergoing OCRI's FREE Ohio Persistence Cyber Improvement (O-PCI) training to assist in planning, training and strategy—all while earning money and strengthening their resumes.

SOCHE, one of OCRI's Regional Programming Centers, manages the internship program logistics, onboarding, and initial student assignments. The internship is Ohio’s innovative response to new state regulations requiring cybersecurity programs at the local government level thereby allowing O-PCI to scale its training with the help of PCCIP interns.

By improving cyber readiness for LGEs, PCCIP advances Ohio's priorities in education, workforce development, and economic vitality.
